in the image above, hot will be in the positive position and the cold representing negative.
Seeing a sexy lady is a "positive" for everyone, women could envying on her body , face and skin tone. Guy....em em....you know where should u see....
OK!next photo....
the cold that i use a disgusting lips to shown. When we 1st looking on this image, shocked?
no perhaps.....its disgustin only....we feeling our skin rash is coming up...
Ya, this is an action on cold.

what definite hot and cold? it's could say as a feeling? perhaps could say in a conscious feeling.. i think.
We could have the feeling connection, unconsciously from the sub conscious. this is what hot and cold mean to us. this is a feeling that we cant control, we cant judge by our own.

  1. Marshall McLuhan's use of Hot / Cold Media is very different from semiotic ideas.

Hot Media - Mediums that can transmit a lot of information, like a HD Video; We are usually very passive with hot mediums, we sit quietly in the cinema and watch the big screen

Cold Media - Mediums that do not transmit so much information or incomplete information; requires more interactivity or participation for it to be completed; photo is hot, a comic drawing is cold, because the details are usually missing; the internet is cold because we need to click around to get the information we want
