The queen of the world,hehe....
We still loving pop music because of her, although her pop is different with Micheal Jackson pop music...but we still loving her.
People will change, so do i. changing abit of the "taste" is just ok for everyone.

Gaga and micheal Jackson have a same similarity, they give us a image that we could never forget.they even can influence the whole society(world). Ignore the style of the music, their image is unique and creating individual style. This form alot of imitation, or parody...

For Mj, a tight coat with a cap. leaving the socks out is the "branding" of him. even thought a primary school kids could know who is this when he saw a guy doing a parody of MJ.

for the same things with lady gaga. the look that she brings out, the "bombastic-ness" the she wear is her trademark. In the news paper, we simply look thru it, without the headline we also could definate the lady that wear in a weirdy sexy cloth is Lady gaga...

err... this could be a example of post modernism? or a PostPostPost modernism....(too modern perhaps?)

Postmodernism

Many people are confused by the term postmodern. It has become a term that is bandied about in intelligent conversation, while many people use it loosely to mean almost anything new and innovative. This article looks at the meaning of this term

Postmodernism is related to the term "modernism". "Post" means to come after. In other words, postmodern thought is that which comes after or develops from modernistic thought. Firstly one has to understand modernism.

Modernism refers to a certain period of western cultural, artistic and sociological history. This period covers the later nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Modernism is a vague and general term that refers to a period of great change in the western world. This change refers mainly to an alteration in thinking and a development of different views of reality. There are a number of historical factors that are important in understanding of modernism. One of the main factors that precipitated this radical change in thinking was the First World War. This war was so devastating and, with the introduction of modern technology, tanks and planes, it changed the perception of Europeans towards their authorities and led them to question the powers that be and the "establishment". Something must be wrong, they thought, when almost an entire generation of young Englishmen was exterminated for no real purpose.

In postmodernism, artist could be just a ordinarily guy or girl, with no limitation, we could produce our own artwork,such as the one above.
In this case, some artmovemt had develop and been influence by it... graffiti is one of the art that come after it

Realism-uncanny valley

What is the actual of the real?
Human is creating somethings that not really real to us, but expecting us to assume them is a real....Almostly, but not perfectly but with a realistic human appearance, is

called the uncanny valley.

And!! is not limited to robots, but is also applicable to any

type of human-like object, such as dolls, masks, facial caricatures, avatars in virtual

reality, and characters in computer graphics movies.

Facial images yielded the most unpleasant impressions when they were highly

realistic, supporting the hypothesis of the uncanny valley. However, the uncanny

valley was confirmed only when morphed faces had abnormal features such as bizarre eyes. These results suggest that to have an almost perfectly realistic human

appearance is a necessary but not a sufficient condition for the uncanny valley. The

uncanny valley emerges only when there is also an abnormal feature.

A person who advocates or practices a departure from traditional styles or values that is a "modern"

Hot and cold

wow....such a contrast.i will show a semiotic example ~

what is actually hot and actually cold?

in the image above, hot will be in the positive position and the cold representing negative.

Seeing a sexy lady is a "positive" for everyone, women could envying on her body , face and skin tone. Guy....em em....you know where should u see....

Ya, this is an action on cold.

what definite hot and cold? it's could say as a feeling? perhaps could say in a conscious feeling.. i think.

We could have the feeling connection, unconsciously from the sub conscious. this is what hot and cold mean to us. this is a feeling that we cant control, we cant judge by our own.

Two sides to everythings

Is really having two sides to everythings?

err, in reality...i kinda confuse. it seems yes or it seems no....

in this example that shown,i don't sure this is a good example to show every things have two side or showing every things can change its role ....

罗刹,is a kind of people Chinese Buddha/ Hinduism culture.

Its as shown as a ghost/evil demon that took out life, he done every things bad that he could do.

In the old hinduism, the "lo sha" is equally same kind with the "Satan", that is the demon that appear in the bible.

But, what i found is that "lo sha" have a unique things that ""satan" doesn't have.

"lo sha" originally is a demon, and he change his believe from evil to the good side.( buddha)

After that,buddha giving him the holy power and turn "lo sha" to a god.

Is this telling us, we could "roleplay" in everythings ?

In buddha bible, the "lo sha" fallen himself to be a demon again after 500 years and he realize that being a god is better then being a demon. Finally he returning his position as a god. From this situation, many games and comic or animation that have "lo sha", it influence and been portray as a bad guy in first and will turn in to a good side in the last.

In this example, i could get a image that is "

Nothings could be always evil and nothings could be always good."

i question myself, will the god we believe turn in to devil one day as it have a two different side on everythings....nothings could be always good....

Intertextuality

Intertextuality is the theory that a literary work is not simply the product of a single author, but of its relationship to other texts and to the structures of language itself. All the poems ever written could be imagined to be in one giant book somewhere, where they all respond to one another in extended conversation. Current theory also broadens the definition of "a text" beyond literary works to include other art forms.This is a very very very old example on intertexuality.
